In a word - wow. It was as if Kaye were writing my own words. Even though Kaye is a breast cancer survivor and I am a testicular cancer survivor (balls and boobs for life!), nearly every page resonated with me. Kaye's writing is written in a very conversational tone which instantly sets the reader at ease. The book is not presented chronologically through her journey; rather it is a series of stories and lessons she learned from surviving this beast that affects so many lives.
