UNSUB by Meg Gardiner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I seem to be on a serial killer binge lately and this one has far surpassed them all... Which is saying a lot since I've read some great ones. This is a craftily written tale of a daughter who tries to solve the crime that sent her father over the edge.
I really can't get too much into it because to share too much of the plot would be a spoiler. Suffice it to say, the murders are gristly without being gregarious, the detective work is exceptional, and the killer is as methodical as he is twisted.
I'm literally writing this review on my way to the library to get the second book. It's definitely worth the read.
