Unspeakable Things by Jess Lourey
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
The good:
- The writing was engaging and I couldn't put it down.
- Pace was on point and I shot through it in a few hours.
- The mystery and Cassie were both well developed.
The bad:
- The lack of ending (but be sure to Google Unspeakable Things epilogue to access what should have been in the book).
- The weird sex parties. I'm really not sure what they had to do with the plot.
Overall, closer to a 2.5 than a two. It definitely improved as it went on, and I almost rated it a 3. However, the lack of an included ending was a deal breaker for me and brought it back down to 2.5. Not sure I can really recommend this one overall.
