Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I thought this was an interesting look into British racism and I was able to see a lot of parallels with the US. I found it hard to understand the British terminology, but that's on me as an American.
The first half of the book was significantly better, more interesting, and meaningful than the latter, in my opinion. In chapter 5, when it began discussing feminism, I felt like the book really lost sight of the message. It was an interesting concept, but this chapter and the next felt like dragging on.
I'd recommend "So You Want To Talk About Race" over this one.
