Dead End Girl by L.T. Vargus
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was definitely one of the more twisted serial killer thrillers I have read this year. I really enjoyed it overall, but it did take a long time for it to really "get going." However, it was very hard to put down once I crossed the halfway point.
I was a little confused because it seemed like there would be no twist, as they gave away the identity of the killer very early on. This turned out to be misdirection for the audience so it definitely caught me by surprise.
I will try the second book in the series soon. If it has another slow start, I am not sure that I will continue with the series.
