Light by Michael Grant
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Apparently I never finished this series when I read it in high school, since this book was new to me. To continue my analogy of Harry Potter, this is the Deathly Hallows of the series. All plot points come to a head here and there are no loose ends. Honestly, this is the rare YA series where the final book is just as good as the first and knows when to give up.
I've said it in the other five reviews, but this series is well worth the read for teens through adults.
As soon as I get caught up on this backlog of reviews, I will begin the spinoff trilogy.
