I enjoyed their second book (An Anonymous Girl) and decided to try this one. Blazed through this book in roughly 24 hours - could not put it down. The first and second acts were definitely the highlight and the majority of the final act was pretty good, as well. Definitely an enjoyable read. The twists were exciting and it was a fresh take on the domestic thriller genre.

My biggest gripe is something that is appearing to be a recurring theme in my 2019 reads. The ending wrapped up far too quickly, while somehow also leaving some plot points unresolved. Would have liked to see more explanation on some elements or for some random subplots to be cut.

Recommend this book to anyone who likes any sort of thriller, especially domestic thrillers.
