According to the author, rhis book concludes the Jericho Black series, but directly launches the Will Hessler saga. I found it to be a fitting end to the Jericho arc that began way back in Among Wolves. It's interesting to see how Will has been grappling with his mental health challenges and has grown as a protagonist. I'm interested to see where he goes in his next adventure.

Espionage, twists, and action sequences are littered through the book, as we have come to expect from this series. The book had a strong Cold War Red Scare feel. I know we learned about a main character's deception in the previous book, but it reminded me of Alexander Pierce (Robert Redford) from Captain America The Winter Soldier. Hail Hydra!

As I've said in previous Jericho Black reviews, you really need to read them in order to understand and appreciate the books. Now that the series is complete, now is as good time as ever to start! I definitely recommend them all.
