Into the Black Nowhere by Meg Gardiner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
While this book had a different feel than UBSUB #1, I still enjoyed it just as much. Caitlin is now working with the FBI and we see more of the investigation side of things than in the first book.
Another notable difference is that we find the killer rather early on, around the 50% mark. I actually thought that it was a red herring to have caught him so early, but it definitely was refreshing. The parallels to Ted Bundy are clear and help add a level of creepiness to this story, because it's something that could - and has - already happened.
I definitely recommend this one to fans of crime fiction and cannot wait til the third book is released!
