The Last Town by Blake Crouch
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A worthy end to an intense trilogy. I initially thought the book was going to take the well written mystique from the first two books and turn it into a zombie survival tale, which would have been highly disappointing. However, it was not so and dove deeper into the mythos.
What we have here delves into the backstory to the trilogy, dealing with the fallout from the second book, and establishing a future for the Pines community. The saga truly came full circle and I can only hope that there will eventually be a fourth (or possibly a short story).
