Review: Rewire Your Anxious Brain: How to Use the Neuroscience of Fear to End Anxiety, Panic, and Worry
Rewire Your Anxious Brain: How to Use the Neuroscience of Fear to End Anxiety, Panic, and Worry by Catherine M. Pittman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The fact that it took me nearly two months to read this book is for one simple reason - I wanted to give my (anxious) brain time to digest each part rather than zipping through it.
As someone who is coming to terms with PTSD after cancer, I find that anxiety is one of my more prevalent issues. This book lays out the neuroscience behind what causes the feelings of anxiety and how to work with your brain to reroute this process.
I found it easy to follow and understand, with a lot of instantly applicable practices. Definitely worth the read for anyone who could use some help with mental health.
