The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Another gem from Harlan Coben. I'm pretty I have never read a book from him that I haven't wanted to just breeze through immediately. He has such a way of writing that can only be described as unputdownable.
This book is interesting because it ties into his 2019 release of Run Away but without overt and forced connections, a la Nick Fury in the original Iron Man.
Hester, a mainstay in Cobenverse, is the secondary protagonist while a new character, Wilde, takes the mainstage. It's interesting to learn more about Hester and be introduced to Wilde. The plot is timely and moves quick. Of course, it has plenty of twists and turns.
My one gripe is that one sub plot is not resolved in this book, but I'm hoping it turns into a series so we can learn more about Wilde.
